Texas Longhorns
Texas Longhorns tickets may have been the most sought after college
football ticket in the nation last year. After all, the Longhorns did
deliver an undefeated season and a BCS National Championship with their
41-38 win over USC in the Rose Bowl. Now comes the tough part. How does head
coach Greg Davis replace the phenomenal Vince Young? Take your pick: It
could be Colt McCoy, a redshirt freshman with pinpoint accuracy, or Jevan
Snead, another redshirt youngster with a cannon on his shoulder. But whoever
gets the nod the Longhorns are expecting running back Jamaal Charles to be
carrying a major portion of the load. Charles averaged better than seven
yards a carry in 2005 and is as explosive as any back in college football.
The hardest thing to do in college football is repeat a Championship season,
but football fans in the Lone Star State are already lining up their Texas
Longhorns tickets and making plans to be in Memorial Stadium for every game
in the 2006 season.
