Oakland Raiders
Let us hear you Raider Nation. This playoff drought has to end, and the man to do it is back roaming the sidelines at McAfee Coliseum. Art Shell returns as head coach and inherits a team loaded with offensive weapons.
Shell’s not the only new face in Oakland. Former Saints quarterback Aaron Brooks headed west and landed at McAfee Coliseum. Brooks, out of Virginia, brings a strong arm and will fit in perfectly in the Raiders’ bomb’s away philosophy. He’ll have two dynamic receivers to toss the deep ball to in Randy Moss and Jerry Porter. Running back LaMont Jordan, who experienced a breakout season in 2005, will join Brooks in the Raider backfield, giving the Silver and Black the look of an offensive juggernaut. 2006 could be the year the Raiders return to the playoffs. Will you be there? Not unless you pick out your Oakland Raiders tickets today.
