St. Louis Rams tickets may surprise NFL football fans in 2006. Gone is “The Greatest Show on Turf”. In it’s place Rams fans will find a more fundamental, and ultimately more fun, spectacle. Namely a winning franchise. After taking his team to the Super Bowl, Mike Martz failed to keep the ball rolling in St. Louis and new head coach Scott Linehan hit town preaching a new gospel of run first offense. Linehan, who come to the Rams by way of Miami and Minnesota, where he served as offensive coordinator, believes in keeping things simple and doing the simple things well. The new emphasis on the running game means running back Steven Jackson will feture prominently in the offense. Quarterback Marc Bulger, who took a beating in Martz’s downfield passing offense, should benefit from better protection. St. Louis fans, who got used to winning the NFC West and tired of the mercurial Martz, already like what they see and they’re snapping up St. Louis Rams tickets with both hands.
